LAHPA Players,

With the "new normal" there have been several changes made to the facility and to how we are going to play hockey. Here is how it works.

Players, Goalies and officials must:
- Fill out new Waiver Form and turn in as you enter the rink (electronically sign waiver)
- Get dressed as much as possible at home
- Arrive no more than 15 minutes before your game
- Enter the rink with a mask on
- Upon entering the rink you will have temperature taken, if you have a fever you will not be permitted in the rink

After entering the rink there are numerous hand sanitizing stations located throughout the rink
- The locker rooms are limited to 6 people, read chalk board sign for your teams locker room location to put skates on
- If your locker room is at capacity you will put your skates on in a designated location in the rink.
- Try to maintain safe distance on the bench
- No bare hand shakes
- Don't share water bottles or towels
- After game is over you have 15 minutes to remove your skates
- You will exit thru the front emergency exit door on each sheet of ice
- No fans are permitted to watch the games in person. They will have to use LiveBarn
- Rink employees will be sanitizing seating locations between games
Iceland Sports Complex Friends & Families,

With the recent concerns about COVID-19, we wanted to reach out to all of our patrons. A healthy and safe environment is our priority for all our rink patrons and community as a whole. While we continue to proceed with our regular rink hours and schedules, we will be taking added precautions for the benefit of all people who step foot inside our facility.
Our staff will have an increased focus on their cleaning routine throughout Iceland. We strongly encourage everyone to wash their hands and take extra care in being as sanitary as possible. Supplies are limited, but we will be doing our best to keep complementary hand sanitizer around the rink as much as possible.
USA Hockey has shared the following guidelines that we encourage everyone to follow not only around the rink, but everywhere while this virus remains a concern:
Recommended precautions for participants
  • Practice frequent and meticulous hand-washing with soap and water or alcohol-based hand rub
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth with unwashed hands
  • Cover your nose and mouth when coughing and/or sneezing with a tissue or flexed elbow
  • Avoid close contract with anyone with cold or flu-like symptoms
  • Quarantine anyone who is sick (players, coaches, parents, roommates)
  • Ensure safe food sources; thoroughly cook meat and eggs
  • Handshake lines after games should include first bumps with gloves on OR eliminate handshake line and consider a stick tap or clap to the other team as a sign of sportsmanship
  • Use individual water bottles; do not share them
  • Towels should not be shared in any way
Thank you for your understanding in this time.
